Visit of the CERN Director for Research and Scientific Computing

CERN delegation led by prof. dr. Joachim Mnich ( CERN’s Director for Research and Scientific Computing ) visited our Department For Experimental Particle Physics and Laboratory for Photon Detector Development, where we study photo sensors for future collider experiments. We showed them setups where world class research is for the HEP experiments and medical applications is performed. Our lab is focusing on the detection of light with ultimate timing resolution in harsh environments of extreme irradiation and low temperatures.
