Slovenia and CERN have been collaborating closely for more than 30 years, and we are proud that the work of the high-energy physics community has been recognised and honoured. Our photodetector laboratory is involved in the design of the Upgrades LHCb particle identification detectors RICH and TORCH, as well as the DRD4, Collaboration on Photon detectors and Particle Identification techniques. With this formal step, we will be able to build even tighter contacts and gain access to the CERN infrastructure.
